PCs Emma Keane (Melanie Gutteridge) and Roger Valentine are called to the attempted suicide of 13-year-old Jenny Waterson (Arati Menon).

Evidence of a sexual assault leads DCs Grace Dasari (Amita Dhiri) and Terry Perkins (Bruce Byron) to investigate. The discovery of a webcam in Jenny's room makes them think it might be a case of on-line grooming.

With the help of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre they zero in on a suspect, Carl Newton (Sebastian Knapp), but the officers fear that the he may be about to assault Jenny's best friend Shareen Taylor (Poppy Goodburn).

Saturday, September 6 at 9:05pm - Ep 584 - Closing The Net - Part 2

In this very exciting and important episode, the Sun Hill team acts on information gained from a suspect in a pedophile case that an 8-year-old boy is about to be abused on the internet.

With only 24 hours to find the boy, they join forces with the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre to try to find the person running the paedophile ring, but find the technological sophistication of the net hard to penetrate.

For DC Terry Perkins (Bruce Byron) it comes as a shock that Peter Williams (David Scholfield), a man he believed had changed, may be involved.
