Saturday, August 23 at 8:30pm - Ep 579 - Heat on the Beat

Supt John Heaton (Daniel Flynn) decides to spend a day 'on the beat' at Canley Markets with PCs Beth Green (Louisa Lytton) and Emma Keane (Melanie Gutteridge), who are both suffering after a late night out.

Meanwhile, PCs Roger Valentine (John Bowles) and Natte Roberts (Ben Rishards) investigate the theft of some electrical goods from a delivery truck, which then turn up at the very same markets.

But it's when Supt Heaton tries to arrest a young woman, Rachel Compton (Billie North), appearing to conduct a drug deal, that events take a turn for the worse...

Saturday, August 23 at 9:15pm - Ep 579 - Corrupted

During a disturbance at a nightclub, PC Sally Armstrong (Ali Bastian) comes to the aid of undercover police officer PC Andrew Tipping (Gus Gallagher), by disposing of some drugs he has on him.

When it transpires that Tipping may be involved in drug trafficking, Sally has to confess to Sgt Stone (Sam Callis) what she's done, and although furious, he hatches a plan to 'save Sally's bacon'.

Meanwhile, DC Jo Masters (Sally Rogers) becomes involved when the club's owner, a former suspect in an unsolved murder is implicated, and Sgt Stone has to tread a fine line.
