Australia's Antarctic Program is managed by the Australian Antarctic Division of the Department of the Environment. The Division supports Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) and administers the Australian Antarctic Territory (AAT) and the subantarctic Territory of Heard Island and McDonald Islands. It also conducts its own Antarctic science programs.

CSIRO Division of Marine Research is the combined divisions of oceanography and fisheries.

The Antarctic Cooperative Research Centre was established in 1991 and is now one of the largest research organisations in the world concerned with polar regions. It has 30 equivalent full-time research scientists and 32 support staff housed mostly in the one building on the campus of the University of Tasmania. It is very closely connected with the Institute of Antarctic and Southern Ocean Studies.

The AAP Mawson's Huts Foundation has been established to rescue and conserve the unique historical buildings known as Mawson's Huts, base for one of the most significant expeditions in Antarctic history.

Web pages created by last year's expeditioners to Mawson Station show what life at Mawson is like. There's also a Mawson Station webcam courtesy of the Australian Antarctic Division.

The US Antarctic Sciences Section of the Office of Polar Programs describes the scientific research and support operations provided by the US Government in Antarctica. There's also a great list of Antarctica related links.

Glacier is a web site about Antarctica and the part Antarctica plays in the global system of weather, climate, oceans and geology. Talks about people who investigate Antarctica from American bases.

Other stations that are part of the Australian Antarctic Program are Davis, Casey and Macquarie Island.
