Annette Marner

Annette Marner, presenter
After a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and English, Annette began her broadcasting career with the ABC in 1984. For two years she hosted an evening show, which was broadcast throughout Australia. Her political interviews have appeared on ABC Radio’s flagship programs, AM, PM and The World Today. She has also been a regular guest on ABC Radio’s The Big Weekend speaking on contemporary literature. Annette is well known to many South Australians as a motivational speaker, media trainer and lecturer. Her first book, Women With Their Faces On Fire, was launched at Writers Week during the Adelaide Festival in March 2006.

Ivy Bateman Ivy Bateman, producer
Ivy grew up in the north and west, attending school in Port Augusta, Leigh Creek and Port Pirie. After completing her schooling in Port Pirie she worked in various sales and marketing positions in Adelaide, as well as being active in the performing arts and modelling for both print and television. She began working as a casual producer at ABC North and West in early 2002. Surviving on talent and tenacity she went on to secure the position of Morning Program Producer, before moving to the Late Afternoon program in early 2007.

Emma PedlerEmma Pedler, West Coast field reporter
Emma Pedler was born in Tumby Bay and bred on 'Mara', the family farm situated half-way between Yeelanna and Kapinnie on the Eyre Peninsula. Emma likes nothing better than heading to the beach at Tumby Bay to fish, for a swim, or just to chill out. She's also known to cook up a storm (fish if she's lucky.). She takes on the world each day with a big cheeky grin and a twinkle in her eye!

Glen O’BrienGlen O’Brien, Riverland and Western NSW field reporter
Originally from Adelaide, Glen has been living in the Riverland for the past 10 years and is married with a young family. Glen’s career in radio started when he asked if he could come in and observe an on air shift. Suffice to say he was hooked. His favourite activities include spending time with family and friends, visiting the regions playgrounds, reading classic novels and playing baseball for his beloved Renmark Angels Baseball Club.
