A trough over central Australia is generating showers for SA and western VIC. The trough is also causing storms over SA. A second trough is causing thundery showers for southeast QLD and northern NSW. Ridges of high pressure are keeping skies mostly clear over QLD, the NT and WA. The northern jet shows a weak trough over WA, helping direct moisture over the interior. The southern jet is directing a set of cold fronts and a Low pressure system south.
