Kristi – (played by Kia Luby)

Kristi is 14 going on 20 and is quickly becoming known as the stable flirt!

She originally came to Pine Hollow as Veronica's guest, but after seeing some of the cute stable hands and riders, she signed up for lessons.

Kristi is Veronica's closest ally and doesn't have much time for the Saddle Club girls.

Kia Luby plays Kristi
The Saddle Club was Kia's first professional experience as an actor. She was pretty laid back about the audition, but when she found out she got the role it was a different story. Kia says: "I just froze; I couldn't speak for such a long time, then I started jumping up and down."

In her spare time Kia likes to surf and water-ski. She's also represented her school in basketball, athletics and swimming events as well as taking part in the Great Victorian Bike Ride.

What's your dream horse?
I love Hugo, Cobalt and Diablo (Raffael's horse). My horse and I would know and understand each other. I think trust is also important.

Are you like your character?
My character is a boy-crazy, fashion conscious, pretentious chick. Let's just say that it's a great challenge to play someone so different from myself!

What do you think you'll be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to be happy, healthy and have done an action movie!
