There's Something about Eels
|
The eel has an image problem. An unsavoury reputation arising perhaps in part from the false notion that they feed on rotting corpses. Yet eels are one of the human race's survival foods, and features in mythology and creation stories throughout the ages. There's Something About Eels combines science, literature, history, anecdote and culinary art to present a radio portrait of this most maligned, misunderstood and unusual creature.
