Sunlight and eyesight: Dr Kathryn Rose
How many times have you heard this?
'Turn off that television, turn off that computer! You spend too much time peering into screens and you'll end up damaging your eyesight.'
Well, new research shows that you may just have to come up with another reason to get those off buttons activated.
The Sydney Myopia Study involved more than 4,000 Year 1 and Year 7 school students.
The study concluded that there's a direct connection between good eyesight and the amount of time children spend outdoors.
