The eating disorder anorexia is an illness that can have devastating and sometimes fatal consequences.

It places enormous pressure on the individual, their family and friendships, and the ability to function day to day.

Lucy Howard-Taylor is 19, and she knows first hand what it's like to battle anorexia, and how hard it is to recover.

She's written a very personal account, called Biting Anorexia.
