Presented by the Social History and Features Unit Earshot has ceased production and has been superseded by a new social history program Street Stories. In Earshot we'll be telling tales from over the back fence; some from your neighbours, some from people you hope will never find your street. Each week we'll bring you a half hour feature from the footpaths, paddocks, lounge rooms and shopping malls of our diverse continent. They are stories told from within communities about daily life; the everyday struggles and joys. They're told with a fresh and unexpected voice by the people themselves, rather than an invading journalist. So tune into Earshot for a journey of discovery in our own backyard.
