Reciprocal deal for US/Australian sharemarkets
A deal to make it easier for Australian investors to trade on the US stockmarket has been signed overnight in Washington. The agreement, the first of its kind signed by the US, will streamline standards between the American and Australian stockmarkets and means local investors will not need to use a US registered broker. It will also make Australian markets more attractive and accessible to US investors.
