presented by Bill Leak and Libbi Gorr About Night Club The Radio National Night Club is the evening arts, culture and entertainment program on Radio National at 8.30pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.Night Club is hosted by cartoonist/portrait artist Bill Leak every Monday to Wednesday, and by comedienne/entertainer Libbi Gorr every Thursday and Friday. The program also showcases a team of specialist commentators, including art critic Bruce James and film critic Julie Rigg, and contributing producers Janne Ryan, Kerry Ross, and Rhiannon Brown. The team explores the latest events and ideas in visual arts, performance, popular culture, drama, television, film, architecture, and literature. The focus is on the creative talent propelling these areas with guests from around the world. There are also regular performances including stand-up comedy and live music. The Radio National Night Club is the night-time alternative to television for those craving entertainment from performers who create real magic not just everyday "reality". | |
