High cloud is gradually increasing over western TAS as moisture is brought in ahead of a trough, but it's not causing any rain. The rest of the state is staying clear and dry thanks largely to a strong and near-stationary high over the Tasman Sea.

Derwent Estuary

Northeast to southeast winds at first about the lower Derwent, otherwise northwest winds 10/15 knots, easing to 5/10 knots this evening. Winds becoming variable 5/15 knots overnight before an afternoon southeasterly seabreeze to 15 knots tomorrow, tending northeasterly late evening at 5/15 knots.    

Far Northwest

Monday: Northwest winds 10/15 knots, easing to 5/10 knots in the evening.<p>Tuesday: Variable winds to 15 knots tending northeast to northwest at similar speeds later in the day.  Sea: Up to 1.5 m  Swell: Up to 1.5 m

Hobart Waters

East to southeast seabreezes to 15 knots, tending west to northwest 5/15 knots this evening, then west to southwest at 5/15 knots early tomorrow before afternoon southeasterly seabreezes to 15 knots, tending northeasterly late evening at 5/15 knots.    

Inland Waters

Monday: Mainly northwest winds 5/10 knots, increasing to 10/15 knots for a period during the day, possibly 20 knots at times in the southwest.<p>Tuesday: Northwest to southwest winds 5/15 knots, becoming variable to 10 knots late in the afternoon or evening.    

Lower East
