An 18-year-old boy charged with the rape of a woman in Canberra earlier this year has been committed to stand trial in the ACT Supreme Court.

The teenager is charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent, grievous bodily harm and theft.

The teenager has been remanded in custody.

He is due back in court next week.
