Strong Wind Warning for NSW Coastal Waters North of Cape Byron and South of Green Cape
A tropical low and the monsoon are generating heavy showers and storms over the Top End. Onshore winds are generating patchy showers along the southeast QLD coast. Warm easterly winds for central and Western Australia. A trough through NSW is triggering storms. The northern jet is dipping south over WA, helping hot weather persist in the southwest of the state. The polar jet is directing a few cold fronts though the Southern Ocean.
