This film explores the spectacular behaviour of parrots and cockatoos in the wild across the many and varied landscapes of Australia. It will be linked by striking aerials and imagery from space and punctuated by the events that are shaping this ancient land and its birds—drought, flood and fire. Filmed in High Definition.

As we journey through this season we meet those whose lives have been affected by bushfire—from those who fought it, to those who studied it, to those whose homes were destroyed by it—gaining insight into the issues facing us now, in the past, and in the future.
